Not good, but the bigger factor for me has been limited sAAver space and the lack of access to AAnytime awards.

@wasCB14 There’s not much good to say about our airport...hasn’t been worthy of talk since TWA was bought out and AA packed up and moved our once hub to Chi-town.  But of the 5 direct flights they operate here I’ve never had a problem getting award space...probably because our city sucks and not many elites take off from here.

Not happy about the devaluation as I’m sure no one is...but at least the increases as they affect me are a lot smaller than what I expected them to be...and at least they’re still using an awards chart.  The entire “dynamic” pricing structure sucks in my opinion and thankfully I won’t feel too much pain with the upcoming change.

What sucks even more is I’ll venture a guess that American Airlines will probably drop their award chart soon and move this the dynamic pricing structure.

That could be it. I mostly fly between LAX/JFK/SFO so the "preferred boarding" from Aviator usually means I'm not quite the last person on board.
