After being denied by Barclay for the Apple card, I reconed 2 times and the 3rd time was the charm. I called in today so I can talk to someone in upper management about my 2 denials last week. I got a nice young lady who listened to my final plea. Well I began telling her that I needed better understanding from someone in upper management. She asked was this for reconsideration, I said yes and she said I may be able to help. I then told her that since you guys pulled all 3 of my reports and I have taken hard hits on my reports could she reconsider the first amount I asked for when I applied last week. (2K) I said if this was gonna be a great opportunity to get with a reputable company and get past the sub-primes, I will reconsider the the amount I previously asked for and take a $700 credit limit vs having a hit and no card. She said I can do that for you, and BAM approved. I would like to thank everyone in the forum that pass along great knowledge and help to those that are lack of experience when it comes to credit and doing those seemingly hard to do recons.
