I have been banking with BBT for over two years now and was looking at their BBT Bright Card. Any idea on what credit score they are looking for in regards to their credit cards?
Try the pre-qual
Many have gotten multiple BBT cards with just a SP from that, not guaranteed though.
You can search bar BBT and see past applications
Here is the pre-qualify link....soft pull. Many of us who pre-qualified received final approval and a card without ever incurring a hp. I just received my BB&T Spectrum Cash Rewards card yesterday in the mail. Still no hp. YMMV, but the vast majority has been sp only.
Good luck!🤞🏼

BB&T is great, especially IF you don't want to incur a HP and can find use for one if their three card types, Rewards, Travel or Balance transfer.
The CSRs are also super-friendly and responsive, on the phone and in branch. And while the SP BB&T train moves swiftly from pre-qual to SP approval with nice SLs, in most cases, the card arrival time does not, so be prepared to possibly wait longer than the stated 7-10 days to receive your actual card post COVID, but still well worth the wait, IMHO.
There is quite the cadre of folk in the forums who have acquired more than one of BB&T's SP cards, present company included.
Congratulations @Anonymous on FINALLY getting your card in the mail...@Wavester, any updates on your card arrival date?
No solid idea of the EQ score they're looking for but for me I was (EQ) 744 with no recent hp's on EQ. (0/12- iirc) Corrected: (2/12 and 0/6) Dh's scores were in the 780's and couldn't get qualified until he finally had some hp's age on his Eq report. I think once he hit 6 months without a hp on Eq is when he received the offers. That's just what I noticed for us and as always, ymmv. Good luck!

Wow; @GApeachy, now come to think of it, that may factor in as to why my daughter didn't get a prequal, I thought it was her overall utilization.
I was 798 EQ with 1 inquiry for first card and 796 for second, have now dropped to 790, so hopefully it will come back up.

I corrected my post....I had 0/6 or 2/12. With dh.....his utl. is high. Mine was around 29-30% depending on when I app'd x 4.
