i got my $30 on 7/30 and I should have got my next one by 10/30. I do $7.99 each month, make sure it posts to statement and pay in full. Repeat. Does anyone else do similar small charges and didn't get it, or did? I want to call them and ask them where the reward is.
I received my last Quarterly Cash Bonus on 10/3.
I also received mine at the beginning of October.
Hm I wonder why I'm not getting it. I'm doing the same thing as I've been doing.
People keep saying "Minimum payment" as if there's some minimum amount you have to charge to the card in order to get the bonus. It's my understanding that this is not the case, that the minimum payment is just the regular generic term for the amount you have to pay to not let the account go "past due." From what I've read (for people who like conditionals):
IF you charge any amount to your card more than $0,
AND you let the statement cut with anything more than $0,
AND you pay at least the smallest possible amount to keep the acount current (aka the "minimum payment") up to and including the full statement balance,
THEN you get the quarterly bonus.
If the balance is small, then it might be that the statement balance and the minimum payment due are the same amount. I'm not sure, the smallest minimum payment I've seen on my Amex has been $35.

Correct. I got the last bonus only charging $10-$20 bucks per month and PIFing.
And to answer OP's question, I got my quarterly bonus at the beginning of October as well.
According to their program rules, "A monthly payment received on or before the Due Date, which is more than the Minimum Payment due; a payment in full received on or before the Due Date is a Qualifying Payment"...so as long as he's paying off the $7.99 monthly there shouldn't be an issue.
EDIT: OP have you tried calling in to ask? My only thought would be since Oct 30 was a Friday maybe they needed a little extra time...but it's almost been a week now so that's strange.
