@CreditMagic7 wrote:Now i think i understand why they denied my CLI Request from 11K-15K this week.
I didn't want to go for the moon as can be the norm but it came back as a shock when they turned it down and said a letter, blah blah.
Maybe the timing was just plain bad since it's Finals Time now.
I think their cli process is very similar to TD Bank and Diners which I've found to be near impossible (for me anyway).
Well they sure put this genie back in the bottle in short order.
It was of no real concern that it took them nearly a full week to get the initial request out of que into process and it has been 7 months so i felt it was within their timetable, however no go and just waiting on the letter now.
Here i thought they would pull EX the same as when approved but instead a hard landed on TU which i found a little odd too. Oh well
Oh TU really??? I might have to give them a shot but I'm afraid given how I ended up with my card (CFPB), they may have a long memory. It's not as bad as Diners though. They grilled me about my report and then said they would call me back within a few hours. Sure they called back and dropped the hammer. "We feel that you have sufficient credit from us blah blah blah". I figured I would have a decent shot considering that my brother charged 9k on my 15k card and paid it off over 5 months.

So tempting CM7. I must resist, I must
They actually had a Balance Transfer offer on the account so that worked out even better than charging it since we need a bit of time!

Thanks for info. Just called to see if I had a BT offer. I do but it's 5.9% for 12 months with a 4% fee which is capped at $120. I'll have to pass for right now as I have several others with FNBO at 0% and then there's Discover.

I can confirm no daily limits with Ciri, Chase, Equality,BofA, Amex, Comenity... Who am I missing!
Some can be sensitive and a call ahead is Best But otherwise!
Who do we call to determine what offers are available, just the regular CSR's i guess.
Are they up on things enough or if the offer is not what's expected can calling back to a different service rep bring a different answer?
