More power to ya if someone can pull it off this soon but the norm as mentioned is been around 6 months and demands another HP.

Right.  The only difference with One7, his request was handled as a SP, not HP, and he was able to get the APR lowered (ahh... those were the BBVA days!).  But if someone feels the HP is justified this early on for the CLI, sure.  Data points always help.

Re: BBVA NBA American Express CLI?

CA I was curious about their cli's too. Many people on here got cards in April or May thus at 6-7 months already.

Citibank and BofA do hps for cli's. Why is it no one has tried for one with Compass?

Frankly at 30K with BBVA, I don't need one - regardless if it's been 6+ months.  I can't speak for others but BOA vs BBVA would yield totally different results.  Even with my other BBVA CC, the CLIs aren't really that much priority.  While I like both banks and their products, FIA/BBVA has more opportunity rewards-wise which would be more advantageous for some to obtain CLIs with them and would produce better fruit IMO.

Yeah but this won't fly with BBVA.  I'd say, for the sake of credit science, see if your partner (which is really more so for you Smiley Very Happy) would be willing to take the hit for a CLI.  Are you both using more than 50% of his $30K?

LMAO, if he is in a good mood I'll tell him that one!

We don't really use it at all actually... I think last use was small costco trip to make sure it stayed active... I would say less than $500 since getting it!

Re: BBVA NBA American Express CLI?

Okay, So the process is:

1. Call in and ask for a cli after account is at least 6 months old.

2. It goes to back office and they do HP and approve or decline and increase

3. Process is 1-2 days for decision

Thanks for the data points Creditaddict, seems similar to what One7 posted a long while ago.  Except #3.  So, ummmm, how old is your card?  It might as well be yours too since you & your partner =1 Smiley Tongue  Granted, I know you want your own Smiley Wink
