Yes, sort of. Folks were getting instant approvals via email right away with unreal SLs (>$20,000). Then, as secondary verification processes with those applications had begun, some SLs were eventually slashed or taken away altogether. Some people still remember the craziness.
My 25K with NASA is still alive and well. My savings account with them is too.
I have no K with NASA and am doing fantastic.

Touche!
Welcome to the club, they denied me with THEIR Ex score of 730, too many new accts & INQs but, this was way after the gold rush days.
Fortunately, Penfed & Alliant filled the void.
I used mine Monday twice, once for $5 at a gas station then $850 at Costco, friend needed tires and was going to pay cash so I swooped in with my card and took his cash then twice yesterday at HEB (Texas Supermarket) and haven't had any issues yet. They even gave me a $7500 CLI when I called. Hope no one else gets their accounts closed. Good luck OP
This is starting to be a trend at myfico. as soon as members hear of the big limits. every body in the country wants to jump on the band wagon. based on the big limits. suddenly. the bank starts to panic.
Duck
Diners.
Nasa
and sudden account closures and AA.
I guess its best to leave the wagon with out the band.

Which is why one should app for cards they actually want instead of going with the next "high limit" trend especially since most of the bandwagon people don't remotely need the "utization buffer" of a high limit.
I think I missed something, I looked everywhere and have only seen one person with their account closed which could have been for any number of reasons. How is this anything like the Duck card? This makes no sense to me, I saw 6 different people complaining thoughout the different forums about Chase closing their accounts but only this person has had this account closed. Does this mean Chase is going to close everyones accounts now? Of course not.
Edit: My brother in law was approved for $25k this morning and a person at work was approved for $20k a few hours back. So they are still dishing out limits, hopefully they dont close everyones accounts but its doubtful

You my friend are one of the few people in this thread who so far has demonstrated the ability to read, comprehend and filter through, and for that, I congratulate you. You've done something simple, yet, something that majority on this thread are not capable of understanding and rationalizing.
Kudos to you my friend. There is hope for the human race afterall.

Thank you for the Kudos I didn't want to say anything until I searched everywhere first and I did, haven't seen any other account closure for this card besides this one. I feel bad for the OP and I bet they find out it was something minor, hopefully they can fix it for them, but until we see more closures the comparisons arent there to the other cards mentioned. I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway just in case.
Irish80,
First two transactions: Cox Bill payment, and ticketmaster tickets to an event.
$120 and $74 respectively.
Next day, go to lunch, use my card, and the guy says "want to try another card?" My jaw sort of drops, and I give him my Navy federal card. $6.50.
Later that evening, go to Best Buy... $800 transaction. Declined.
At that moment I realized something was up, came home and gave them a call.
Here we are now.
My income is high, portfolio is decent (AAoA has gone up since 2 x AMEX 7 year backdate).
I may be a once off thing, but it really seemed like a OCCU/Duck situation.
I am really glad that BBVA hasn't started suspending other accounts on here.
