I was approved for the Amex BCE on 7/25. First transaction was on 7/31. I have since run about $2700 through and on Friday I got my $100 signup bonus.
I am impressed. ![]()

I made $750ish purchase for the first billing cycle and paid in full the day after the statement cut.
I did purchase a laptop for about $2k - I have another thread about that "experience".
So far I am impressed with Amex.

Yep, a major annoyance with Amex. Cap One and Barclays post with every transaction, many others at statement close. Of my cards, only Amex takes an extra month.

Thats why my BCE and ED are semi SDed since I still nneed them for Costco. I wish they give us our points faster
I didnt know that it took this long to get points with amex. Chase is great at giving points as soon as the statement cuts. Barclaycard is also very good.

Yes, it's very annoying! It took me 3 mos to get my reward points. I miss barclay arrival, which I have canceled. ![]()
When I redeemed the reward dollars of my BCE, I could not use it for then current statement. It had to be the next one. It's really annoying!!!
