I have had my BCE for just over a year. It had a SL of $6000. At 61 days I got a 3X cli to $18,000 and 181 days after that I got a CLI to $25,000. My 181 days since last CLI will be on 4/12. So just a few days away. Until recently I had been using my BCE for about $140 of grocery spend, and $200 of gas spend each month. I did have about $1000 of balance that I was taking advantage of 0% but that has now been PIF. I recently got a Ducks Unlimited card for my gas spend, and it was the Discover 5% quarter for groceries so BCE has had no spend in the last 30 days. The grocery spend will be starting up again as the 5% on Discover is over.
My Cash Magnet is almost at 30 Days so I have a little over a month until I get to my 61 Days. I got an SL of $2,000. I moved some of my CL from my BCE to my Cash Magnet making both of them have a CL of $13,500. I made a purchase of $4700 and another of $534. I plan on having one more purchase of about $3700 in the next couple of months that will go on my cash magnet to take adantage of the 0%. Otherwise I would split up the charges between cards, but I am not paying interest when I have a 0% deal.
With those purchases I will be at about 66% util on the Cash Magnet. I will be asking for a CLI on one card or the other. If I get it on the BCE I will move move some or all or maybe even some of my current limit to the Cash magnet to reduce the Utilization.
What is everyones thoughts on a CLI, should I try for it on the BCE or the Cash Magnet?
Worst case sernerio I don't get a CLI on either and I move all but $2000 from my BCE to my Cash Magnet. The I am at about 36% util and it shouldn't take more than a few months to get it below 30% again.
I want to say Magnet because that's the card seeing usage atm. But honestly with both cards at the same limits it probably won't matter much which one you pick because you can re-allocate yet again to fit your needs.

Thats what I thought, but not sure if one card has a better chance of getting the CLI than the other. The SL given on the Cash Magnet is by far the lowest SL I have gotten since my cap one QS. I am wondering if I am pushing my luck with Amex credit lines at the moment.
If it was me, I would ask on the BCE since the Magnet has a sizable balance but I don’t know how AMEX looks at all that. NFCU and Disco are the only issuers I have in my wallet who I will ask for a CLI when I have a balance because they’re both known to not really care that much.
