Blue Cash Preferred gives you 6% cash back at stand-alone grocery stores, right?
Does anyone know if they consider Meijer to fit that category? It's where I do most of my grocery shopping.
Sweet! I'm not ready to apply, I have other stuff I want to do before I take a hard pull for it, but that is encouraging...they stay on my list.
So long as the merchant code is supermarkets, you will recieve the 6%. As far as I know, every grocery store however small or large will be classified as such.

They do not consider Target or Walmart to be stand alone grocery stores though.
Right, any large discounted such as the above and Costco/Sams Club are all excluded.
How does it handle the gas stations at Meijer?
From what I heard, all gas stations must be stand alone. Meijer, Kroger, etc. don't count.
Yeah, but would it be coded as a non-stand alone gas station? or will it code as the purchases inside the store (ie Schnucks, a standalone grocery store has gas stations at some locations--will it be 1 percent or 6 percent on the BCP?)?
