BCU just sent out offer of additional 2% for 4% CB on their Cash Rewards CC up to 2500$ for October - Dec. Not a ton but something is better than nothing an extra $37.50. Just got by email just had to click to activate.

Isn't $50? The max per billing cycle is $37.50, so I think you will get $50's CC, $12.50 carryover into the next billing cycle?
@redpat I think you are correct. Didn't read it closely will through it into AI in a bit and figure it all out so i dont need to think
. Thanks for fixing that for me.
Yeah, looks like .02 x $2500 = $50 to me. ![]()
So ran it through gemini and got this. Not sure why my head had such issues with this.
Your Normal Rate: You get 2% cash back on everything, with no limit.
The Promo Bonus: You get an extra 2% cash back on special categories (like dining, travel, retail, and entertainment).
The Monthly Limit: The extra promo bonus stops earning once you hit $37.50 in extra cash back (which happens when you spend $1,875 in those special categories in a month).
If you spend $500/month:
Base 2% = $10
Extra 2% = $10
You get: $20 total (4% total)
If you spend $1,875/month (The Sweet Spot):
Base 2% = $37.50
Extra 2% = $37.50 (Hits the max bonus)
You get: $75 total (4% total)
If you spend $2,500/month:
Base 2% = $50
Extra 2% = $37.50 (Bonus is capped)
You get: $87.50 total (3.5% total)
