Re: BCU nerfing Travel Rewards card

Looks like BCU is actually going to launch a new product. Hopefully it's an improvement and is actually a replacement for the existing so I don't have to apply for a new card.

Launching Soon: Travel Rewards+ Visa® Signature credit card. Our most rewarding card is almost here. Earn more on flights, dining, and everything in between. Plus, so much more. Stay tuned!

I managed to find the Reward T&Cs. There's an AF and caps on bonus spend at $5k per year per category. This card is a turd and DOA.

Travel Rewards Plus Visa Signature FAQs – if you carry the Travel Rewards Plus Visa Signature card and pay an annual fee, you’ll receive the following rewards program benefits: Earning Rewards Question: How do I earn rewards? Answer: You will earn 5 points per dollar on net airline purchases (purchases minus any credits or returns) up to $5,000 in spend each year. You will earn 4 points per dollar on net hotel and car rental purchases (purchases minus any credits or returns) up to $5,000 in spend each year. You will earn 3 points per dollar on net dining purchases (purchases minus any credits or returns) up to $5,000 in spend each year. Once you’ve exceeded the annual spend cap in each bonus category, you’ll still earn unlimited 1.5 points per dollar on net purchases. And you’ll earn unlimited 1.5 points per dollar on net purchases in all other merchant categories throughout the year. Cash advances, balance transfers, and checks used to access your account will not earn rewards in the program.
