I have had my BML account for 7 years with a 500cl. I have tried multiple times to charge more than my limit and constantly get declined. My most recent decline wouldn't let me charge 5 bucks over my limit. The denial letter gives my score has 783! I have never missed a payment and have great credit i.e no lates or derogs etc low util 2% and high fico scores high cl on all my cc. The denial also gives the reason as too many derogatory information on report and short time since last late payment. I have never had any late payments and certainly no derogatory info on any CRA. So I don't know how they come up with their denial reasons. Their cs is useless and can't do anything to help just the standard scripts.
They dont only by the score tho. My brother started with 800 back in april this year. He is now at 3680. His scores are 677 680 692. Hes been using it and paying it off monthly. Ive had mine for a little more than a year and i got a 1k cli at one year mark.
Its one of the few accounts I carry a bal on, but have never paid any interested b/c i'm constantly getting 0% APR offers. Maybe they keep hoping that eventually I'll buy something large enough I won't get it paid off in 6mo, 12mo or whatever, and they can hit me with all that deferred interest.

You wouldn't believe how many people actually don't pay it off before the interest starts being charged.

Then they complain about Bill Me Later being a scam, Because they don't tell you that you'll be charged all of the interest at the end of that term. Hah. (They do, But ignorant people are everywhere)

Tell me about it. If you go on Amazon.com and look at the reviews for the Amazon.com credit cards it's the same thing. Some people even claim to have thought 0% interest also means no payments and get mad that they get a late fee when they're late. The worst was when someone made a large charge with the Chase Amazon Visa and for some reason thought the 0% applied to that aswell. Needless to say they bought what they couldn't afford at the time and were mad that they had to pay interest from the start since it was the wrong card. It's funny, but seriously, I don't know why people just can't read. It's always everyone else's fault but their own.
