I asked the rep if it was a hard pull and she said no... I asked her 3 times... She stated that its only a hard pull if I apply for new credit. Well I figured that I would save my hard pull and apply for the Royal Caribbean Visa... When she transferred me to the credit analyst department I asked the analyst and she stated that it was a hard pull and it had already been requested.... I am upset but its ok.. (the analyst was very apologetic)... Originally my card was $1000 my limit was increased it to $2500... The only reason I am going got keep this card is because it is my oldest account. But I don't want to go through a HP ever time I request a cli.... It might be time to sock drawer this card
how long have you had the card? this is not one of those cards with automatic cli?
They are trying to discourage people from requesting CLIs. They do them automatically if you are patient.
I have had the card since 08. It started out as a 99/500. When it unsecured i received a 500 increase and it has been stuck at 1000 since 09.
150% CLI? Most people would be pretty happy, no?

DW has recently gotten a BoA Cash Reward Visa, so I'm very interested. How many people in the forum have received automatic CLIs from BoA and how long after opening the card? What was your usage pattern and scores?
Thanks!!
I've had them for exactly a year this month. No auto CLI and I won't request one. They gave me 7.5k a year ago and it looks like this is where I'll be staying.
Check your CRA. I've recently asked for a CLI from BofA. This was my second. I just got approved last month. They said it would be a HP. Checked my report just like the first time. No hard pull only soft. 7000 after only 6 months first increase after 3 months. Started out with 1000. No autos. They don't usually do HPs even though they say they do.
