BOA CLI

I applied for a CLI on my BOA CC and the credit team said "too many new accounts". I asked for it to be feather reviewed and they came back with the same answer.  I asked what is to many new accounts, the first rep said 2 new account for the last three years, the next rep said 3 accts for the last 6m and the last rep said no more then 2 acct for the last two years. Does any one know if any of the numbers are true? My TU FICO: 796 the account is 5 years old and a 10k CL now. I opened two new accounts one CC and one Auto Loan.

Perhaps, if you have the request limit increase hyperlink still present, request each following month until CLI granted.

sorry for the denial 😕 i know everyone's experience may be different, but personally those numbers did not ring true for me. i received a cli on my cash rewards a month or two ago and i had recently opened 4 accounts within the last 6 months, and they were all reporting.

Sorry for the denial! Sounds like they were trying to appease and get you off phone. I'd not put too much attention upon yourself. Strange times we're experiencing.

That like has been gone since early Apr along with BT offers and reps said it because of the (mod cut-not here please) Virus.
