Will they deny you CLIs if you've opened many new accounts since them? I've gotten about 13 new ones after opening my Cash Rewards 6 months ago. Don't want to waste a hardpull if they will absolutely not increase due to that alone.
I got a CLI recently with them with a few accounts opened since I got BOA, only 6 though, hope this helps.

Was it a decent CLI or like a measly 500?

Well, I'll tell you my history with them, and this was with me consistently having 10+ accounts in the past 6 months
-Opened the card in January, $500 limit
-HP CLI to 2000 in March
-Apped for another BOA card and they said no, but let me split the limit $1000/1000
-Moved $700 of the CL from the new card to my current, and doubled the limit of the new card to $600, so I had $1700/$600
-Moved the whole limit from the new card to current, had $2300, then CLId to $3100
-Opened another card with a $1000 limit, CLId to $2000 within a week, and moved that to the current card to give me $5100, which I stayed at for a while after being denied a CLI in June
-In September, I HP CLId from $5100 to $8000.
So if you've had your card for 6 months, and never requested a CLI, I say go for it. They don't seem to be too stringent on CLIs esp since they HP anyway. There's also a great backdoor number which is what I've used the entire way
Thank you for the in-depth answer. Helped me a lot!

It's very difficult to answer your question because every credit profile is different. You will have to decide if you are willing to take the risk. BoA has been very generous with CLIs for my Cash Rewards card. I went from a SL of $800 to 10k in less than a year. However, when I requested one for my BBR they denied me because I lacked investment accounts with them. Of course, I'm paraphrasing but that's the gist of their denial.
If you are denied and decide to recon, they will ask you about the inquiries on your credit report. On a positive note, your account is eligible every 6 months for a CLI.

Can you elaborate more on this? How many increases to 10K? How much was each increase? Did you do them online or did you call up for more?

I don't track this information like other folks so the best I can do is a guestimate. For the last CLI, I observed the 6 month rule which increased my limit from 6k to 10k. All the other request were submitted within the first 4-5 months of opening the account. It may have taken 4 or 5. Again, I'm not sure about the number. However, I am sure about the time frame it took because the card came with an introductory period that has ended. Most of my requests were done online. At least 2 of them I called the credit department. BoA uses the same credit report for 30 days so sometimes I utilized this option.
SN: You have opened a lot of accounts in the past 6 months so it may be in your best interest to hold off on requesting a CLI. IMO, I think you should garden for a minimum of 6-12 months. BoA has been known to CLD or close accounts if they feel a person is a risk. I'm not saying you are but that's a lot of new accounts in a short period of time.

I was approved for the cash rewards 2000 SL and after 7 months I requested a CLI approved 5900 with 17 new accounts.
