So I applied for the BBR card on the 4th of this month and got approved with a 6K limit. At the time I didn't know about the AAA card and I was now thinking to get it, but I wouldn't want another HP. If that's the case I would most likely wait to get it later on. Does anyone know if it's too late now to apply for the card, should have it been done on the same day?
Any tips are appreciated.
You're correct. It's too late. You would have had to apply on the same day and have both approved on the same day for the inquiries to be combined.
You will be getting another hardpull as alot of time has passed. So wait it out and get it later thus, if you can wait.

Sorry, definitely too late. You would get another HP.
I'd just let things rest awhile and evaluate your options. I remember your prior thread about 3% travel cards, and now it seems you are picking one just to pick it. The cards aren't going anywhere. Take some time to really figure out how much benefit you'll get before applying. This way you don't end up with SD cards.
Not to say the AAA card may not be useful, but it's just a 1% gain over your Double Cash for travel, and you technically have to pay for AAA membership (don't think it's enforced, but could be at any point, just something to be aware of). If you have a lot of travel expenses 3% may add up to a lot, but if it's just an occasional thing, may not be worth a new account.
Thanks everyone for the help
