Hey guys/gals! I did some searching and didn't find a thread that was fairly recent. I did check (google) for that site to look and was well, not impressed...So, here goes...BK7 FEB 2013 have heavily rebuilt and all that good stuff. IN with Chase and Discover (just happened and VERY thankful)....I have seen BOA go both ways. HUGE baseball fan and would like there MLB card...is it worth a shot? Maybe not right now, in garden mode, but do they auto deny for BK? Recon good? btw, had to Recon for the approval for my Freedom card...Thanks!

BoA is not that BK friendly, unfortunately. Especially if your BK is still kinda "fresh" (< 2 years). You're probably looking at about 6 years (maybe less) at the earliest possibility for consideration with a BK profile. Maybe other folks who have a similar profile or BoA experience can chime in.
Awesome! Thank you for that, I appreciate it.

Well, I wouldn't want you to waste a HP (if you're saving them) and if any reconsideration efforts became futile. But, let's see if other folks who fit a similar profile have gotten a positive outcome, even if it's the 99/500 secured option to get your foot in the door. The MLB is a Cash Rewards product, so even if you got the 99/500 secured card (after it unsecures with positive history for ~12 months) then you can ask for a PC to the MLB MC.
BOA isn't too keen of BK and CO's if they are fairly recent.
Yes, do not waste an HP with them. They are a bit snobbish. I've banked with them for over 10 years & I'm just getting my foot in the door with them. They like to see high ficos too.
Thanks again everyone! I appreciate it. They can wait for sure. I honestly have enough credit and some good companies that I am very happy/blessed to have. Just food for thought down the road.
3+ years at minimum from baddies.
BK might need to be further but baddies 3.
You guys rock!! thanks yall

Not *quite* the same, but I have two checking accounts with BoA and they offer the MLB branded cards as debit cards too. I have a Red Sox debit card (and also a Patriots debit card). If you're just looking for a nice looking card to display your sports pride, that may be a route you can take. I just got my EMV versions of both debit cards and they're quite nice.
