BOA Product Change: Can I expedite delivery?

Is it possible to get expedited delivery for my new BOA card when I do a product change?

Is it possible to get it delivered to a branch for me to pick up?

I talked to a BOA CSR today about getting a product change for my personal card. They said this:

  1. I cannot request expedited delivery of the new card.
  2. I cannot request the card to be delivered to a branch for me to pick up.
  3. I can request the card to be shipped either by USPS or UPS.

I don't 100% believe their answer to #1.

Why not ask if you can continue using your existing card with the new benefits until the new card arrives?

Thanks @Vinjints , this redditor seems to be suggesting that this is how it works.

CSR said I could keep using my old card until the new one arrives, but I didn't ask whether it would switch to the new benefits.

Suspect this is financial dependent, I was able to continue using the existing card as the account number remained the same and the backend changed to the new benefits structure. Happened several times for me and Chase was one along with US Bank.

If the account number remains the same you should be able to continue using the old card until the new one arrives.

I did a product change years ago with BoA and that's how it worked.  The card's title online and rewards structure changed within a few hours of the PC but I was still able to use the original card until the new one arrived.
