Hello ,
this question is for a friend, they already have a boa cc and boa just asked them do they want a cli. I know there is no guarantee and the easiest way is to just ask them but this friiend waited to answer them until they asked me is it normally a hard or soft. So best guesses? Thx.
edit: understand if you request boa cli it's normally HP.
It is usually a HP on TU.

+1.
Hard Pull TU. I just had that happen to me yesterday.
Thanks for the responses, I just advised them against it based on your answers .
Do they do a HP in a full secured card that want to increase the CLI by adding money to the card pulled from the BofA checking account?
My wife asked to increase her limit from $500 to $1000. They asked for address, income, employer and if they will get the money from the checking account. She doesn't know if they did a HP or not. No score, no credit history, ssn new from early this year.
it's probably a HP to add funds to a secured card (personal experience)
Thank you YahComb.
$500 was too low, so we needed to add more. We were planning on adding more money to the secured card but if they always do a HP we better wait 6 months to have a score and apply for other cards, and let the card graduate.

BoA is typically HP (as understood), but I would still call and ask if it's eligible for SP increase. Chances are slim, but it has happened before.
How much weight do they give to balances carried on their card when they are considering CLI's.
