BOA credit line increase

I am so happy with BOA right now....I was online paying my credit card payment and one of those little chat with an expert windows popped open and the little lady there gave me a number to call to request a limit increase,....I told her i had submitted for an increase last week and was denied....

asked if she thought it might help to talk to a person and she said it (could)

I called and spoke with a rep there that asked me a few questions and then was transfered to another nice lady who gave me an increase from 1000 to 5000.00

sooo back doors must really help))

Does anyone know if a back door number might help me with WAMU..

Ive had an account with them for a while now and have Never gotten an increase..although i was JUST denied for the Rewards card..that the TELLER in WAMU talked me into applying for (

That was such a total let down since i hadnt even intended on applying for a card there....I was encouraged to apply only to get denied ( made me feel really sad

I was wondering if asking someone personally for a cli might help since i got denied for the rewards card??

Any one with experience and a possible back door number???

Congrats on the cli Camilion!  I just got one myself by talking to a human at BoA.  Woo hoo!

Wish I could help you on the Wamu thing.  It seems the general consensus is that they don't take customer-initiated cli requests (i.e. they are auto generated).  I would love for someone to prove me wrong as I would like a cli from Wamu as well.

Congrats on the cli Camillion! Very nice increase. What number did you call?

As far as WaMu goes, good luck on requesting an increase. I've never had any luck with them. They always say it's done internally...not at customer request.

IMO, for a "prime" bank, they have the poorest customer service reps around.

this is the number i was given by the online chat rep.......1-800-421-2110

i spoke with the lady there she asked a few questions and passed me along to the next person who did an instant increase...

IT ALREADY shows on my account!!

ficonovice, I feel your pain. And prime is in the eyes of the beholder. For many it's sub-prime...or worse. For others it's marginally prime.

Congrats on the CLI. I am hoping for my BOA 99/500 card to become unsecure and hopefully get CLI on that card. I have 2 more months to go before they would unsecure it.

Congrats! I just logged into my account and I got my CLI I requested earlier today! I asked for 4k and got it!! I guess I should have asked for more!
