I called the Credit Department the other night to try and push a CLI through on my 10k Platinum Plus card. I was instead offered 5k on a World Points MC with on a soft inquiry and I was more than happy to accept. I logged in today and it was listed on my accounts.

Being the limit pusher I am, I immediately hit the love button. I logged in just now and there it is, CLI to 10k again.

That's 20k in CLs they have given me on no hard inquiry, except the one they pulled to finance my car.

I was thinking about combining my Plat Plus Visa into the rewards card, since I won't use it as it is non-rewards. Anyone ever combine with BOA?

Congrats on your new card and CLIs!

I just did a product change from Visa to World Points Visa - the whole process took about 3 minutes and I got my card in 2-3 weeks.

With BofA, it helps to have an existing account relationship. That's pretty much true of any bank: having an established relationship with them is worth about 30 FICO points. It's not a guaranteed approval, but it does help.
