You need to ask for CLI and start working on another BofA card then close but PC CL to next card and so on. That is how I got my AK Air Siggy which now has a 9.8k CL.
No applying for a new card. But before you do that wait a few months putting good spend on the card and PIF. I applied for several AK Air cards getting the Plat each time, meeting min spend and then closing once I Xnsfr existing CL to my open card eventually getting the signature card which I really wanted. Also had the cash rewards which is a decent card

What morgacj2004 is saying is that you would need to get another BoA card to grow. That secured card that just graduated will almost certainly be “bucketed” and will never fully grow!
I had a 99/500 card opened in 2015 refunded 6 months later. Opened a new BoA Cash Rewards card in 2016 combined and closed the 500 card. That card just got bumped to$6.5K few weeks ago.
Here’s what I suggest... Wait AT LEAST 3 months minimum. 6 Months is ideal though then try. If you want them to pull your EX then app for a new card first then do a CLI on your existing card right after. (They usually use same pulls for 30 days). And if you want them to pull your TU then hit that CLI button first then app for a new card. You can now then combine your cards and close the graduated one that’s most likely “bucketed”.
