I have to try and get them to stop mailing them. I got some from WF stolen out of my mailbox. Fool took it to the next town and tried to cash it in branch. Glad the tellers could spot the fraud and gave me a call to double check. Never had any issues with theft before... sad.

Yeah thats the downside all right. Glad it got caught though
Well, they've continued to roll in like a tsunami! Several more from Citi, Discover and BofA since my last post.
But still not a *single* one with no fee! All are 2%-5% and I'm not impressed.

No fee is extremely rare. Ive heard of Cap One offering those a couple years ago, Comenity was famous for it on the Sportsman Guide Visa, but most bank are going to charge something. . I know some balk at a 3% fee but when a bt can help one financially or credit wise. Its a small price to pay for extended months to pay a debt. Getting an 18 month offer at only .99% is better than me getting a pl so paying a couple hundred ibstead of thousands is acceptable to me

Oh, I definitely agree!
I've said [in another thread] that I'm going to go ahead and use my 2-5% fee, 0% APR offers if a 'no fee' one doesn't show up pretty soon. I've just charged a TON of money, and plan to shuffle it around so I pay no interest on any of it. I've been hoping for a no-fee offer, but it just hasn't materialized yet.
They're not exactly common, I wouldn't call them that, but--for me-they're not exactly UNcommon, either. They're just sort of hit or miss! And right now, it's a miss!
@AverageJoesCredit wrote:Just wondering is anyone else seeing an influx of BT offers via checks that can be used with ones checking? Lol, today i received more from Sears, Best Buy and yesterday's was from Well Fargo, a 15 month one. Week before i got my first Penfed checks with which i am using to consolidate 3 cards into 1 payment. Im sure with my debt im a prime candidate but it sure is nice to have these options . Especially being able to go into checking, my preferred method of BT .
I have been getting them on a monthly basis from Barclay's, Discover, and Chase. Barclarys for the last two years or so, Disco on and off for the last two years, and Chase for about the last 6 months.
Another BofA in today's mail...
It's been a couple of days since receiving the last Citi mailing....so another should be coming along any time now!
