Hello everyone! I've been a long time lurker and finally decided to join the site. I wanted to ask about recommendations regarding balance transfers. Here is my current profile:
10/28/14: From MyFico.
EQ: 704
TU: 706
EX: 667
I only have two Inquiries showing for TU pulled OCT 17, and 19th of this year for T-Mobile and Sychrony Bank and was approved.
I have 4 active CC's , student loans and a mortgage.
No other inquires for EX, EQ
My EX score is low as I had one state loan that was delinquent that I paid current.
However, what scares me is the collection I have with Windham from my university for $914 I am disputing. The collection was filed 4/2013. My goal is one more application for a card will help with balance transfers as my utilization is 32%. Any suggestions would be very much helpful!

Collection reports on all three CRA'S
Could try for a Chase Slate for a BT.
You'd need at least a $4,500 limit to BT everything onto it, but I highly advise against maxing out even a BT card.

Definitely Slate. If declined you can call the Recon number and explain the issue, i would bet an approval.
