So I received a "corrective notice" letter from AMEX about the Blue Cash Card I applied for on July 19 2014. It's basically the same exact letter except for a change you can see below. The score used on the application was 728. Why are they sending me this? I could care less.. they denied me so thats's that.. I don't need to be reminded.

I think they're required to send out a minimum amount of mail per USPS contract.
Nah, Just joshin' ya.
Honestly, I don't know. They've done that to the Wife a couple times when denying her a CLI on our Costco TE.

when i applied for their hilton hhonor card, they send me 7 denial letters all at the same time, when i applied for blue cash card, they sent 2 denial letters at the same time, i guess they really love to send out denial letters and rub it in your face the fact that you got denied.

Did you recon? If so, maybe that's why they sent another? Hate you got denied with a 728. Goes to show there is more than score at play with cards. Try again before the year is out?
You could have a 799 and get denied if your file is.
A) Short
B) Little to no recent credit usage (Debit card folks who have one CC that they use maybe once a month)
C) Too many obligations in relation to Income
D) No Income
I could go on for days.

I did not recon. Will apply in 2015 when all my inquiries age to 1 year+.
