Balance transfer on CitiSimplicity Card

I went to view my CitiSimplicity card tonight and noticed there was a "view your balance transfer offer" notation listed under activity since last statement.  I haven't had a balance transfer on this card in a year when my first promotion offer on this card ended.  Anyway, the offer is for 6.99% and the duration is "until paid in full"!  There is a 3% balance transfer fee with a $5 minimum....so max must be unlimited.

Just thought I would pass this information along just in case you want to check your CitiSimplicity card and see if you have a balance transfer offer waiting for you.  Mine was done overnight because it wasn't there yesterday!  I check my card sites often if not daily.  Smiley Indifferent

Don't know how accurate this is, but here's a review of the card:

I'm under the impression that Citibank no longer offers the Simplicity Card.  I could be mistaken.

I heard the rumor of the card a while back but never knew anyone who actually had one. They don't offer it as of now...don't think it had a long lifespan.

I did hear that the CitiSimplicity Card was being discontinued, but I never
switched over to another card.  I am glad that I did keep the card, however,
as I have been getting great rewards on the card like 5% at stand alone
grocery stores, gas stations and pharmacies for six months.  Also I received
a letter in the mail extending the 5% offer to any home improvement
purchases.  That coupled with a pre-approved offer for $3,000 to Home
Depot which Citi owns/operates.  Now the 6.99% for the life of the balance
is ideal considering how high the APRs are going up on other cards after
         current promotions end!

I believe there are still some CitiSimplicity cardholders out there, like me,
who are still pleased with the card!  Smiley Happy

P.S.        Forgot to mention that I received a $41.66 statement credit last
month for using the card at the 5% places listed above!  Smiley Happy
