Balance transfer utilization question

Hello all. I have a 0% apr 1% transfer fee option on my Slate card and had a question... How does decreasing my utilization on 2 cards to 0% and increasing the utilization on my Slate card affect my credit score? Is utilization based on individual cards or as a total of all of your cards?

It's based on both individual and total.

Having 1-9% total utilization won't help as much if one card is at the brink of being maxed out.

But you only really need to worry about your score if you're applying for new credit.
