Bank of America Cash Rewards Card

I have a BOA AM EX card that I have had for over 10 years. I hardly ever use it because the rewards can't compete with other cards I have now. This card has a 28.5k limit so I was thinking about asking for a PC to the cash rewards card. This card has 2% at wholesale clubs so I think it would be more useful to me especially when the Discover double rewards is over.  I would like to get $100 signup bonus but I don't think it is worth a hardpull or the hit to AAOA.

I am wondering if anyone that has this card can tell me if you get the 2% at Walmart?

I don't have the Amex flavor, I have the visa cash rewards, but in my experience Walmart has usually not counted as grocery here in Delaware.

Yes I know Walmart isn't counted as a grocery store, but since the BOA cash rewards card says they give 2% at wholesale clubs I was wondering if Walmart counted for that? I know Sams club will. I have my BCP for grocery stores.

Walmart will almost certainly not code as a wholesale club

I have yet to see WM counted as grocery either.

What about on Sallie Mae? Do you have that card? I haven't used my BOA Cash Rewards card in awhile but I use my Sallie Mae card at Walmart Supercenters and I've always gotten the 5% cash back. I'm in Florida, as you know. Smiley Happy

Don't have Sallie Mae; I can say that the only time I've seen Walmart code as "grocery" anywhere near me for Visa/MC is if it was a Supercenter as you mentioned, but not even all Supercenters have counted. I noticed that some of the ones who don't count are ones that were not built as Supercenters; they were renovated later. So I don't know if it has to be an "original" Supercenter in order to count, or if it's random, or if I am overthinking this :-)

True in Boise one WM produced 5% while another did not. Its hit and miss.

My local Walmart is a supercenter and does indeed code as grocery.
