Bank of America - Still SP CLI, or no?

So, I logged into my BoA account to see if I still had the luv button (which I do). However, when I pushed it, I see what is clearly HP language. Are there any DP's on the current state of BoA CLI's still being SP, or should I take this warning at face value and slooooowly back away?

That language is a legacy from when BoA hard pulled Transunion for CLI requests and I'm sure keeping it there makes their lawyers happy. Still SP CLIs.

@coldfusion  Thanks for the reply.  I last requested a CLI on this card Dec. '21 and I remembered then it was SP regardless.....but I don't recall the language being quite this direct and ominous.

@hackersmovie   Ok, thanks again. I just wanted to reconfirm since I haven't done one of these in over a year. That language though......lol.

Re: Bank of America - Still SP CLI, or no?

I think it's definitely still a SP. I recently opened 2 new BofA accts and the credit limit increase button is there. For science,  I thought I'd try to see if I could score an increase right after approval and I was willing to take an HP for TU since I only have one. Went to pending so I fully expect a denial stating that the acct has been opened too short or not enough deposits in BofA accts, etc. I didn't receive any HP bc I keep TU unlocked for this experiment.

Avoided credit cards after ruining my financial health but got back into the game in 2019 after a 20 year hiatus
