Without a doubt. And I love the fact that you can get 2X for using it to pay your bills (cable, electric, telephone, cellphone, car insurance, etc.). You're going to pay them anyway, so you might as well put them on the card, get points for them, and then PIF the card! ![]()

Well, (among the) best for non-aspirational travel. If you want to go first class international, or at top-top-tier peak season hotels, you are going to have to be able to transfer points to a frequent flier/hotel stay program, using a card from SPG/MR/UR or similar programs.
@PaBill
Pardon my ignorance, but how do you pay your car insurance with the credit card if the insurance company do not accept credit card? Thanks,

According to Barclay, the points can just be applied to your statement for any travel in the previous 90 days, so I wouldn't think point transfers would be necessary. Being a "non-aspirational" kind of person, it really wouldn't matter to me...

Right, but the point is that the cash price for these type of trips is huge, so it would take way too much purchasing to achieve the points on Arrival. With the other programs, by transferring to a frequent flier program, you can get these trips for much less spend.
But for non-aspirational travel, Barclays will do! (Though even some domestic flights require much less spend through say transfer of miles to Avios and use on AA).
I think the main benefit as i see is only for the first year free + 400$ worth of travel reimbursement (40K points sign up). On a day to day basis between QS + Freedom you will be hard pressed to gain additional advantage (against 89$ annual fee). the best part is speed of posting of points / credits if redeemed.

Aside from what you cited, I like that it's 2X the points for everything you use it for, including paying bills. There's also the 10% back every time you redeem for travel...

Aspirational Is subjective. Not everyone needs to fly first class. Just need to fly there for free. I also don't travel to cities/countries for the hotel room. Don't typically plan to be in it long. And I've done a lot of traveling.

Right, merely reacting to "Best card on the market for travel reward/everyday spend/signup bonus combination. " Not everyone has the same goals for travel, for some, premium cabin or top tier hotel is a requirement. For that class, there are other better cards.
