Hi all -
I think the answer to this question is probably no, but I thought I'd ask more experienced people and just check ...
If I apply for a new Barclay card and get approved, and then call the backdoor number and ask for a CLI on an existing card, will they use that same pull or will they get a new one? I'm sure that the default would be to get a new one, but would I be able to convince an analyst to just use that pull?
Thanks for the adviace.

It would be a second HP, there are some who have convinced the analyst to use the pull for the approval YMMV
Tough road to hoe, they will want to do a hp in my experience. Nonetheless, YMMV. There is an online luv button. You can try that and see if they will do a hp.
yes, it is possible to use the same hard inquiry as the one you got approved with. BUT you HAVE to make sure to ask EO that if they will or not. when I got approved with U.S airways card, I called the next day asking about CLI, and I asked him if it's possible to use the same inquiry instead of pulling a new one, he said 'yes' and used the same one.
