Called last week about lower APR (24.99) currently
Was told to call back today as the system would be reviewing my account again.
Called today, No APR Reduction, No PC, No CLI without HP.
Took 22 minutes!
It does not have an AF so I am trying to just put the card back in the drawer and leave it and forget but really want to close it!
If I didn't have the Ring (good card for me to have as a just in case) I would be more then happy to not deal with Barclay at all.
They're not my favorite either. Gave me 24.99% on my USAirways card and two months later Citi gives me 13.99 for their AA card. Same scores. Ridiculous.

Visit my thread on Barclay and the soft pull CLI's, APR reductions, and PCs.
A lot of people have been calling and getting these "special offers" successfully. We even had someone try, fail, then try again a few days later and get an APR reduction and CLI. Don't give up, don't stop trying and never settle on the hard-pull. Be patient.
Barclays are, without a doubt, my least liked CC company. I've had the displeasure of dealing with their customer service a few times and always want to pull my hair out.
The US Airways card will be gone in December and I will then not ever apply for another card of theirs, unless they have a really good offer I can churn down the line.

+1. Got someone in Japan one time. That one was a trip.
They know virtually nothing about your account and are only able to read from the script on the computer in front of them.
Maybe I shouldn't have pulled the trigger then... The opinions on Barclays seem very polarizing, not quite as bad as Cap1 lol.
