OK, with a new Barclays account, should I request a CLI, or should I wait for the Auto CLI? I've got three statements so far.
i would wait and if you dont get it . then request it.... thats what i did
Would suggest you wait at least 6 statements, then call up and ask if there is a possibility of a APR decrease. They will transfer you to a specialist. Once speaking to the specialist, also ask if a SP (soft credit pull) CLI is available. I would then call every 2 months after that, and ask the same thing each time.

I would def wait......there SHOULD be an auto cli at or little after 6 first 6 months.
I was approved for 1500 Barclay Reward card on 11/2013
On 6/2014, received 900 cli, bringing my total to 2400
On 12/2014, received another 400, which brought me to 2800
then last week, received 1500 cli....total of 4300 limit ( not bad for someone whgo filed for BK 7 on 6/2012)
so far this is my highest card.
so yeah i would def wait for auto cli.
Definitely wait.
If you request it's a HP.
I got a SP auto CLI on my now closed Apple card at statement 6.
My Sallie Mae statement 6 cuts in 2 days... Will post back.

I just called, got someone in Maine, asked for an APR decrease, he didn't transfer my call and just told me there were no offers. APR is at 24.99%.
