Why have I never heard of Barclays' "Miles & More" card until today?

I'm not familiar with Lufthansa's awards program, but using airline miles for things other than airfare generally gives a reduced cpp value.

It doesn't look to me like it's 15% off of paid rentals, if that's what you were thinking. It might be a worthless benefit, like getting 5% back when you redeem Arrival rewards for a non-travel statement credit.

Each calendar year thereafter, the cardmember is eligible for the discount provided the Account remains open and in good standing for at least 45 days after payment of the annual fee.

Seems pretty neat to me still.

This card is very good if you use Luftansa more often when you travel international, especially Europe !
