I love mine as a starter card but early next year, I'm going to apply for Sallie Mae and Rewards will be permanently sockdrawered (or maybe they'll let me some of the limit to Sallie Mae). I would love to be able to do a PC to SM but I'm yet to find a success story for that.

I think it's really good to build credit as it's easy approval and you do get some rewards.

Basically this, it is an easy to get card, but with better credit, 2% everywhere cards like double cash are obviously better than 2% somewhere cards like rewards.

It's still a decent card except for the atrocious interest rate past the promo period.

Compared to a 2% card that might not be much harder to get?   It does have instant posting of rewards, that is nice, but still has a $25 min redemption, like double cash, and gives 2% only some places.   And a very ocassional FICO score I guess.

I called Barclays to PC to the Pricelibne card but was told I had to app directly.

Now i'm stuck with this card and don't see any value in keeping it other than have an extra TL.

Help me find value in Barlays product please.  Where's the beef in Barclays Rewards?

If you can PC it to sallie mae. Or arrival. Then you will see value. Like you. I find the rewards. Lackluster. But it's for average credit. Once you outgrow it. Go with their elite cards best of class'. The barclays ring. It's iutstanding. 8% apr. All members. No balance transfer fee. Ever.
