Call Synchrony to see if thet could recon your denial. That is a possibility.

I was declined Barcaly's Apple with a 628 Transunion. They said my score was good, they just wanted to see time with no recent inquiries and to see more growth with my cards. Basically to continue payment on and down my cards and don't try to get anymore credit. They said I COULD try after 6 months but they couldn't guarantee and the longer the better so I may just wait a year. I read that even though inquiries technically stay on your report for 2 years that many credit cards only look at the last 12 months. We shall see.......
