Best Bet for Reporting with Secured Cards

Okay, we really DON't want any more credit cards once we get this mess taken care of, but it seems like most say that to boost my DH's FICO, we need some sort of open cc.  Since I'm guessing we can't get an unsecured right now, what would be the best bet with secured cards?  For rates?  For reporting purposes?

Bank of America has one of the better secured card programs. Orchard is ok for secured, but they may be closing shop. If you have an account with a CU, or if you want to join one, you could ask them about their secured card options.

Re: Best Bet for Reporting with Secured Cards

BOA has our current cc debt,so I'm hesitant to try for them.  There is  First Premier thats all over the place.  Are they vultures or okay?

If something happened to destroy my credit, I would not use first premier. I'd go looking for secured loans or cards from CUs.
