If your UTIL is low and a 700+ score w/ decent history you should be able to get the store card.
Yeah, I'm good there. But I don't like the fact that I would be going back to Capital One. I may have to pass on this one.

I don't believe Cap One does hard pulls on all 3 for store cards they back. I've gotten CLI with both Kohl's and Best Buy both w/ CapOne with soft pulls.
Shouldn't the card be easier to get since it's backed by Capone?
Yeah, but I have a feeling that even though I have Citi and Discover under my belt that they will still give me a lowwwww limit.

The MasterCard is pretty easy to get due to it's low credit limits and AF. The store card is harder due to higher starting limits and no fee's. I was denied a year prior for the store card prior to being approved. Good history,No major baddies & low util will get you it.
You guys are a bad influence. But you're right. Might as well finish off this app spree with the creditor who started it all. Will apply later and let you all know the outcome.

When they shifted from HSBC to Cap1, nothing at all in terms of new card holder treatment changed. By that I mean approval rate, limits, denial reasons, etc. all stayed EXACTLY the same.
The store card is usually harder to get, however there is a BBRZMC with no annual fee and I have seen customers approved for 5-10K (just like with the store card) although it is rare.
