I saw that notice beginning last week on the TD Bank log in screen. It is in small print above the user name and password boxes.

Not happy about it but I couldn't be too annoyed with them, since they recently doubled my limit for no apparent reason other than an $800 payment.

Before the change I used the current website to link one of my checking accounts. Maybe I'll set up Auto Pay before the 15th. The only reason I'd do that is TD Bank is a pain in the butt in terms of seeing whether or not you've already got a scheduled payment. Other sites like American Express and Capital One conveniently have that info front and center. TD Bank hides it, for whatever reason. I always know it's there somewhere but it's not intuitive and requires many clicks to find it.

I hope the TD Bank website isn't designed for mobile. I'm encountering one atrocity after another along those lines. Site layouts that are perfectly readable and wonderful on desktop are being absolutely butchered to conform to mobile. There should be at least a 7 trillion dollar fine every time it happens.

I'm hoping that they integrate the credit card website features into the main online banking site, as opposed to just leaving us with the current online banking site.I think they'd have to, since the card needs payment and rewards functions. The bank interface is barely adequate for basic banking.

On 1/15/22, TDCARDSERVICES.COM will go away, no longer allowing us to access and pay our TD credit cards. The notice on the site directs cardholders to tdbank, com. The utter incompetence of TD BANK has now created a situation rife with the potential of ensuring that cardholders end up paying late.

I have spent a full afternoon speaking with TD rep after TD rep on both the credit card and personal banking sides. Not one person knew what I was talking about. The option to pay via tdcardservices.com is going away barely ten days from now and not one person there knows about it.

One individual kept me on his forever and came back saying that cardholders would be advised of the change, Aside from one tiny line addressing the change on tdcardservices.com, there has been no communication at all. No communications with their cardholders and certainly no communications with their employees,

When I access tdbank.com and click on my credit card, there is no option to pay. Just an option to transfer.

Still stuck on hold while these yahoos try to figure out what is going on.

And, as an added insult, the Personal Banking side say thar I "failed verification" after providing ALL of my details for my accounts that I have had for almost a year,

Truly an incompetent bank all the way around. Beware.

The fact that their reps cannot even figure out how to instruct a cardholder how to PAY an account after 1/15/22 does not bode well for cardholders.

UPDATE: At the tail end of a very long day of speaking to rep after rep, ONE TD Bank Customer Relations Rep, Melissa, saved the day. She was informative; helpful; resourceful and managed to do what none of fhe other reps could do. Simply amazing. I plan on sharing kudos for her with Corporate.

TD is moving to put TD Card Service in-house so the first change is a move away from the TDCARDSERVI ES.COM website.

I agree with you that it is a poorly managed bank. I had similar time-wasting experience when I first detected the notice on the site.

FYI - The option to transfer is how you pay your card on td.com (the "transfer" term is pretty odd though - it's counterintuitive for making a payment). I've been with them for several years and I'm able to do everything regarding my bank and credit card accounts via td.com -- i almost never use tdcardservices.  The mobile app is also functional for paying your cc.

All that aside - I have not yet been notified of this change - wondering if/when they'll finally get around to letting folks know... and the fact that no one has been able to assist you -- or even knows what you're talking about -- is quite shameful.  I'm happy to say that all of my cust service experiences have been decent thus far (although i don't reach out to them often, tbh).

Sorry you've had to deal with this for such a simple issue, just ridiculous.

You're not going to be notified. The only way to find out is the little blurb on the log-in page.

Will this affect the cobranded cards like target?

You pay your Target bill to TD?

TD Bank runs the credit and debit cards for target. I beleive the payment goes through TD Bank.

I know the Target card is TD. But it's paid on the Target website, not TD.

Yeah I think this change only affects cards managed through tdcardservices.com.

I agree and am hoping for this as well.
