Really?? I've gotten my last two (over 2 grand each) road bikes with BML, 6 month free financing. Pretty happy with that. . .

Why? I'm getting 6 months 0% plus 1% additional to my ebay bucks with purchases currently! What's better besides maybe Discover and Freedom rotating 5% right now.

I got denied for a bill me later account today and the only reason for denial was too many inquiries. This makes my 4th app for it this year and I know that's way too many but I didn't find out that fact until I came to this forum. My score has improved quite a bit since the last app and I thought I would give it a try. My total inquiries is 5 with equifax and 3 are from bml. I called their regular cs number and the csr said there were no recons and that he couldn't even pull up any info on where I had applied. Does anyone know of a backdoor number or a way to speak with someone that actually has the ability to do something? I wish they pulled TU because my score is over 50 points better with fewer inquiries. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just love the idea of a hidden TL that doesn't affect utilization. Thankyou!
I know I have way more than four inquiries in the last year, and at least double that because of car loans in 2012.
There must be something else they don't like. Be sure your address and name are reporting 100% correctly.
I was approved for BML in January with a paltry limit of $544, bumped to $687 when I made a purchase with Dell, but last night was approved for a Newegg Preferred Account (which is usable as if it was BML) for $8000.
I make sure I make payments on time, and the interest free financing is awesome. There are no rewards like Discover or Freedom, but I can leave money sit in an account earning interest, or this past year (while I still had balances) put the new item on BML and paid off the other debt(s).
I can't use it everywhere. But when I can use it, it's nice.
how does the interest free cash advance work?

I have a BML account, and I'm very happy with them. I've had them for around 2 years now. They've given me two Auto-CLIs (I started at $610 if I remember correctly, auto CLI at ~ 9 months to $1610, and I got another auto-CLI a few months ago to $2610). The 6 months no interest is a great thing depending on what you're buying, especially since it doesn't ding your credit (UTIL). Why don't you like them?
What helps is if you've had a paypal account for awhile, (ten years in my case) I have a business acount, and had one 30 day late at the time of app. It's come in handy as it dosen't play into UTIL, having a credit line plus the 6 months to pay is really helpful when running a business.
I would take some time to figure how you can position yourself better, aaoa, income, baddies, score. If you don't have a paypal account get one!
