Bit the bullet and app'd CCCU

Ok. I knew I shouldn't have, but I did. I went ahead and app'd with CCCU for their MC last night. My EX is 694, no recent baddies and BK from 5 1/2 years ago. But right before I did, I checked my CR via backdoor and noticed that I had an old statement/comment on there. When I went to delete it, it triggered a dispute, which I wasn't trying to do. EX can be so difficult. I'm wondering if this will bring down my score?

I was hoping there would be a section in the CCCU app for explanations, but I didn't see one. Has anyone had luck explaining certain incorrect info on your CR with CCCU? Maybe I should call EX and cancel the dispute?

The comment dispute is completed within 24 hours.

CCCU does manual reviews, they will give you a chance to go though your report and explain anything.   You have a decent  score, so if your income alows you should be fine.

Be sure to check your email junk folder!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Timothy.

You were correct. The investigation completed a few hours later. I haven't checked my score though.

What should I be looking for in my junk e-mail folder? How long does it take before CCCU contacts you?

within a few days-

If you don't hear anything- give them a call. PM me if you need the number.

I mentioned the junk mail- because that is where mine went- several days pasted before I found it.

Timothy, what type of e-mail did you receive from them -- one that said you were approved? Also, what were your scores when you app'd and how much of a CL did they give you?

I've been checking my e-mail and I have not received anything from them. It's been 3 days so I don't know how long it takes for them to respond.

They sent me a PFD application to fill out (with a pen ahhh)  and asked for a pay stub.

I wonder what the point is in app'ing online if they want you to send in a hard copy. They shouldn't even have the option online if that's the case.

Anyway, I still haven't heard from them. What CL did they give you?

What is CCCU? I keep seeing it in the forum and curiosity is killing me.

Re: Bit the bullet and app'd CCCU

They called me.  I got no e-mail.  I had to send them something (fax) but I can't remember what it was.  It took three weeks before I got card.  But they are worth the wait.  Very nice to deal with.  I asked for 7000 and got 5000.
BTW they only give you a one year card and after that it's two years.
