Really.???... you have until statement due date... not at your leisure. ...
Redpat....
Do you really think they are going to allow you to take months to pay your balance off.... not s chance.
Jmcgee, in my experience, you are incorrect. JUST went through this with a CC issuer that I won't mention... they got spooked and took AA in 2014, closed my account while I still had a balance. It did NOT affect my interest rate or payment terms. I continued to make the same payment I'd always made until the balance was paid in full, earlier this year.
In other words, I just spent more than 16 months paying off a closed credit card.

The one thing that I saw when I applied for this visa was they do not have a lot of the bells and whistles on their website that the big guy's have, like Auto Pay, Free Fico Score. These are just what i noticed briefly on their website.
What i really liked about this company was that they said , we are a new company, if you have any suggestions (ie; autopay, fico) we would like to hear them.
To me it sounds a little like they want to grow with the customers?
Anyone have any thing to add.....Thanks for your thread. There are companies hitting the market often with credit cards. Last year Synchronys Stash Visa hit the market and I recall I introduced this to the forum...a flood of apps and approvals. Many negative comments about it being a small boutique hotels and some was comparing it to Marriott, RItz, Fairmont and other cards. Stash offered a lower than average interest rate, I love boutique hotels and their point system included staying at other hotels. And the great thing is that it is Synchrony and my card grew leaps and bounds 15K in a few month!
All the speculation and negativity will come and eventually go. None of the negative comments are substantiated with fact, just opinions. And everyone has those, nothing special about that. Those who find the card useful will benefit. Many companies offer financing and I'm sure Blispay will figure it out. I apped for the card and recieved an 5K approval. I like the 2% cash back feature and I will give them a chance. If by chance they fold, it's life and we all will survive. I applaud that they are a new company trying to make a go with Blispay.
This really isn't a "they will figure it out" kindof situation from what I can tell. Greg Lisiewski is an industry insider with experience with startup lenders. Granted I didn't independantly verify this data nor do I know the exact job descriptions for these positions, but it sure sounds to me like someone in a position to know exactly what they're doing. Yes, anyone can put anything on Linkedin, but his page breaks down his experience.
Oh, I think they may certainly have a workable business model, the question is what happens when there is some unexpected load put on the system (e.g. a whole bunch of MS taking advantage of the 6 month no payment option). Even very experienced companies have messed this up (Amex with the uncapped BCP, and OBC, Citi with the the 5x TYP, US Bank with uncapped Cash +, Chase with the 5x on everything for 6 months card (still hard to believe that ever got approved!)) etc. Now Blispay could then do what any of those issuers did, and change or cap the rewards. Which may leave people with a farily useless card in exchange for a EX HP and no bonus (and not even, it appears, the exceptionally high limits of things like Venture etc)
Seems like an interesting card, too bad the CLs they're handing out seem pretty low.

My CL was not that low. It seams that you are mistaking Blispay for a full fledged bank when they are really a startup trying to enter the market with a strong product. The CLI's will come when they stabalize but meanwhile it is a good idea to jump on with a good score now so that you will have already displayed good payment history to them.
