Bloomingdales store CC upgraded to Amex!!

Finally!!!....Logged in tonight to check my account, and the upgrade to Amex offer was there! Of course I took it!!   Checked Macys, and no offer....yet    fingers crossed though! 

A little history:

~ Citibank retail and legacy side were IIB in my BK7  in 2013.

~ Approved for both Bloomingdales and Macys post BK same day 12/1/16 $500 SL;  by 8/1/17 both cards were at $25K CL

~ Current CL's on both cards is $25K

~ I use both cards 3-4 times a year for $25-$100 each time, PIF before statement cuts

I know this will be asked, so I'll address it now.  With the upgrade offer, its NOT a new account.  The history stays, only the account number changes, and of course you're issued a new CC with the new number.

I keep checking my Macys and nothing. I am insanely jealous of y'all. 

I wish I knew what they were looking for with these upgrades. Rewarding cardholders with lots of spend, or trying to prompt low spenders to spend more with the Amex version. Le sigh.

Congrats. Thanks for posting this I went and checked my Macy's as I have the Amex and the store and saw the banner to upgrade my store to Amex , so I guess I now have 2 Macy amex cards😊Dudnt know that was a thing but it updated on my account and they are sending a new card.
