I now have a newly approved BoA Rewards World Mastercard and I am also AU on the exact same card except the Visa Signature version. The rewards structure and BoA preferred rewards status are identical.
My family and I would like to use one for online shopping and the other one for dining and we are wondering if there are any tangible differences between the two cards?
I read somewhere that I should use the Visa Signature for online shopping because the Visa comes with extended warranty but Mastercard does not. How do I verify if that is true?
Many thanks in advance.
You can check the terms and conditions on both cards to see which benefits apply.

If you're serious about wanting an extended warranty from a credit card, go with pretty much any card issued by American Express (like your BCE) or one of a limited number of Citi cards (Costco and a few others, but not every Citi card). Citi wins on the benefit terms, but Amex has a smoother claims process.

Well, for the next 15 days! Extended Warranty is removed from BCE beginning Jan 1 2020

After getting the sub from the MC version I pc'd it to Visa. I can now get back 2% at places like Sams Club and Costco (MC does not work at Costco).
