Curious question about that. Do they even allow CLI requests from recent/new approvals?
Yes, BoA apps are good for 30 days. They will give you the standard "we need to pull credit disclosure;" however, they end up using the one on file. I applied for a new card and the next day did a CLI with the same pull.
Just to make sure there's no confusion here for example can a brand new BofA customer who was just approved for a credit card can they request a CLI off the gate? I don't plan on doing that myself but was genuinely curious.
It depends on your profile out of the gate. Several forum members have been able to recon their starting limits with a credit analyst, but generally those approvals are for decent limits to begin with. If BoA starts you off at $500, they might not be willing to extend more credit until you prove some repayment history. I don't see this being an issue for you, based on your signature, and suspect you would receive a usable starting limit.
For what it's worth, I've gone from one BBR card at $500 to $34.8K of exposure with BoA in less than 20 months.

Some do get a special pass on the SP thing but that's very rare.
If you read the language before submitting a CLI it clearly states they will pull a report.
However, I have done it twice and honestly it was very much worth it!
I started with 5000 and then asked for 15k they gave me 10100. Then I asked 20k and got 17200.
Each were 3 months apart. By 6 months I more than tripled my line.
Yes, in my case it was a hard pull with TU.
