BoA Secured Card, how long to process?

I applied for a BoA secured card online last saturday morning (8/23). After submitting the application I got this screen that didn't say I was approved or denied. It said something to the effect of verifying funds and within ten days I would here from them or receive a card. I was kind of in shock because I was expecting an instant denial. Can't vouch for the exact wording of the message but it appears that I could be approved. I wasn't really thinking and I closed the page without really reading it thouroughly. All I really remember is about verifying funds and ten days for something to happen. I found a link on the site to check on application status and it said "sorry need more time". This was immediately after applying. I checked today again (8/27) and still the same status. There have not been any new inquiries on my reports either so not sure what's going on. The suspense is killing me! Has anybody else seen this? Any ideas?

Give it 2 weeks.

once they take the money then it takes less than week from there usually. some have reported longer though... mine was quick after that point.

I received my card 7 days after applying, but I have a BofA savings... I've heard from others it can take upwards of a month.

I actually have a checking account with them which is where the funds will be coming out of. We'll see what happens.

Looks like I might be approved! As of today they have transferred the $400 collateral out of my checking account. Not pending, transferred signed, sealed and delivered. I'm starting to get excited! Hope I'm not disappointed!

You are approved. They wouldn't have taken the money if the card wasn't on the way!  Woo hoo. Congrats!
