BoA Still Under Review - Lists Decision Date

I responded to a Bank Of America mailed preapproval last week. Application took a long time to process and then said it was under review and I would receive a decision within 30 days.

That afternoon the online status just said under review. The next day the online status still said "Your application is still under review", but above that said Decision Date: 05/06/14 (Right under where it always said application date: 05/06/14)

I called several times and was told its still under review.

Has anyone been approved after such a delay, or is this the nice way of declining me so reps don't have to talk to me about it?

Has anyone seen the "Decision date" in the online application status yet still been under review?  I know BoA/FIA frequently does manual underwriting and often requires two levels of approval. Any chance this might mean I got one level and I'm just pending for the second?

Trying to find the bright side since this sure feels like a denial...

I applied for the BofA cash rewards card in February and got the under review message. It also said the decision date was the same as the date I applied. A couple days later they called me and asked a few questions then approved me for the card!
