BoA Unsecure Timeline?

So back in February DW applied for the BoA Bank Americard and was denied, but offered the 99/500 secured version and took it so's not to waste a HP. First BoA card between us. Anyone have success with having it unsecure early? Any timeframes/DP's would be appreciated.

You should be able to call and ask for early graduation already. You may also be able to request a CLI if the graduation is approved.

@Anonymous  5 months appears to be the earliest one can request for early graduation, depending on the strength of the credit profile. If denied, request every following month until card is unsecured.

You are welcome.

If graduation is approved, as mentioned up thread, ask for CLI too.  Perhaps, up to $2,500 / 5x current SL.

You can also ask for product change to Cash Rewards or Travel Rewards.
