With that many credit cards though, you'd literally have to pay one every day! lol
Off topic, do you have to use "bill pay" to pay from an external account? When I finally added a BoA Credit Card and tried to add an external ckecking it want's to go through Bill Pay, but I don't.
You don't have to use Bill Pay if you don't want to...personally, I never use it and after I make a payment I just go back and mark it paid.
Simply add an external payment account (Bill Pay > Manage Accounts > Other Pay From Accounts).
Then from the account page for the credit card, click on the "Make Payment" button and you'll see a pop-up box that contains drop-down list that allows you to select the account you want to pull the payment from.
I used Chase Bill pay, because 99% of the cards I pay via Chase Bill pay is sent the next business day, plus it allows me to pay my cards off without my cards having access to my checking account and more.
As far as they know a Bill Pay is coming from a Chase for my credit card account number.
The reason is I've read the horror stories of card issuers unknowingly billing someone's acount via ACH

Interesting, I thought that Bill Pay had access to even more information and "sharing" than simple ACH. Considering that 15 page long agreement you have to sign.
So I have timed the payments with Amex. When I pay anytime before 4:00pm EDT, the payment comes out from my BOA checking account the same day. After 4:30pm, the payment comes out the in the middle of the night or the next day.
Example: I pay Amex $250 at 8:00am, payment will come out of BOA same day around 3:00pm.
Citi Costco Card:
I usually submit the payment in the morning at 9am and payments gets taken out of my BOA checking account the next day.
Example: I pay Citi card on Thursday at 9am, and payment gets taken out between Thu & Friday night so when I check BOA on Friday, the payment has been deducted from my balance.
I'm curious as to what you are trying to accomplish by finding out the exact cut off times? Is this some new hack you would like to share with the board?

OP clarified they are not looking for cut off times, but for the time it takes for ACH to reflect at their FI.
